We have achieved success in manufacturing the quenching rolls by adopting the new technology of bending and welding 45# steel plate after three-year development and research. We have been granted state invention patent for our quenching roll. The quenching roll has been widely applied in different lines of Bao Steel, and it has also been accepted and sold to Mitsubishi, JFE, SPCO, CHUGAI RO, NSSC and POSCO, etc. With the significant cut in the cost, it can well replace the imported forged quenching rolls. Welding rod 507 is usually used to weld the steel plate 45#, however, welding rod 507 can only guarantee the strength without hardness guarantee. The hardness can be guaranteed by adopting build-up welding, but the welding seam is prone to crack easily. We have tackled aforesaid problems by developing the new welding material. The hardness of the welding seam can reach the same hardness level after the heat treatment like the base metal with no bore and crack.

Cold rolling line: tension roller, deflector roller, steering roller, correction roller, and measurement roller applied in galvanizing line, color galvanizing line and continuous annealing line
